Accessibility Statement
Version v1 · Effective 26 October 2026 · Last updated 26 October 2026
Nomisma LLC ("Nomisma") wants Smartsteps to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement explains the standard we are working towards, where we are today, and how to tell us about a problem.
1. Scope
This statement covers the Smartsteps website at smartsteps.ai and the web application at smartsteps.ai/app, including Reports as displayed in the application. It does not cover third-party pages we link to, such as the checkout and billing-portal pages hosted by Stripe, Inc., or the content of Customer Websites shown in screenshots.
2. Our Target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. WCAG explains how to make web content more accessible for people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, have motor or cognitive disabilities, or rely on assistive technology.
3. Conformance Status
Smartsteps is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard. We have not yet commissioned an independent accessibility audit, and we do not claim full conformance.
4. What We Do
- We offer light and dark display themes, and by default follow your operating system's colour-scheme preference.
- We check the application with automated accessibility testing tools and fix the issues they find. On 26 October 2026, automated testing (axe-core, WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA rules) of the home page, the legal pages and the sign-in and sign-up pages reported no violations, after we corrected colour-contrast and link-styling issues found earlier that day.
- We aim to use semantic structure and headings, labelled form fields, full keyboard operation, sufficient colour contrast, and text alongside colour wherever colour carries meaning (for example, green, amber and red standings), and we treat gaps against these aims as defects.
5. Known Limitations
We want to be honest about where Smartsteps falls short today:
- Testing so far is automated. Our testing has used automated tools. We have not yet carried out structured manual testing with screen readers or other assistive technologies, or testing with disabled users. Automated tools cannot find every problem.
- Dense data tables. Some Reports and evidence views use large, dense tables (for example, lists of cookies and third-party requests). These can be hard to navigate with a screen reader or at high zoom, and may require horizontal scrolling on small screens.
- Screenshots. Screenshots captured from Customer Websites are images of third-party pages. They may not have detailed text descriptions. The findings they support are described in text.
- Quoted third-party content. Reports quote text from Customer documents and websites as written, and we cannot control its accessibility.
We are working to address these limitations.
6. Feedback and Help
If you have difficulty using any part of Smartsteps, or want information in a different format, please tell us:
- Email: info@nomisma.ai (subject line "Accessibility")
- In the application: Help (smartsteps.ai/app, then Help)
- Telephone: +1 510-565-0510
If a barrier stops you from creating an account, choosing or paying for a Plan, cancelling, or reading a Report, email info@nomisma.ai with the subject line "Accessibility" or call +1 510-565-0510 and leave a message. A member of our team will reply within two business days and complete the task with you or for you, for example by setting up your account, arranging your subscription and sending you a payment link, or sending you a Report in an accessible format, at no extra cost and on the same terms as online.
- Post: Nomisma LLC, 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States
Please tell us the page or feature concerned, what went wrong, and the browser and any assistive technology you use. We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within five business days and to propose a solution or workaround, such as providing a Report's content in another format, where we can.
7. Technical Information
Smartsteps relies on HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and is designed to work with current versions of major web browsers and assistive technologies.
8. Review of This Statement
We will review this statement as we improve the Service and complete further testing, and update the date at the top when we do. Related documents: Terms of Service, Privacy Policy.
